What Causes Sugar Traces In Urine?
I dont have high cholestrol, but, was looking to take a natural indegrient to lower some and control... How are red yeast rice tablets... I took them about 2 years ago and they lowered my levels by almost 30%... Downside was my DR detected a trace amount of sugar in my urine... I stopped taking them and the trace sugar disappeared... Is that a serious issue... I am now taking cholestoff and omega 3 fish oil tablets... Cholestoff is not near as effective as red yeast rice tablets... Your opinion please...

You are concerned about finding sugar in the urine when taking red yeast rice tablets. The kidneys will spill glucose in the urine when the blood sugars levels are above 160. By stopping the red yeast rice tablets your blood sugars levels must have reduced and now back in normal range.
I recommend that you continue with the cholestoff
