What Causes Sudden Thinning Of Hair On The Front Of Hairline?

I am suddenly experiencing hair loss on the very front of my hairline. I am a 64 year old woman with absolutely no history of baldness or hair loss in my family. I think my hair is thinning out overall, but the very front is suddenly very thin. This has just begun happening since Dec. I have no changes in my life. What is causing this?

If the hair loss is sudden you will probably need few basic investigations done to rule out underlying medical illness.. have you sufferred from any sort of stress- physical or mental in last 6 months because that can also lead to fall which we term as telogen effluvium.Regarding your diffuse thinning it could be age related. To start of with you can atleast start a multivitamin with 10 mg biotin in it. Use Minoxidil 2 % for application on scalp every night. If condition persists get a detailed examination done
