What Causes Sudden Shivering And Fever To A 70 Year Old?

Hi there, My father is in his 70s. Yesterday, suddenly he was shivering very much for about 10 minutes in the midnight and had slight fever. After that he took tylenol for fever and was feeling very weak and tired and was resting the whole day? He is feeing good now. My question is why did he had shivering suddenly..??

Hi,
It seems that he might be having some infection, mainly urinary tract infection giving this problem.
Now if he gets same problem, then go for urine check up for any infection.
After report go for treatment accordingly.
At this age prostate problem also we should keep in mind.
Give him enough water.
Ok and take care.
