What Causes Sudden Severe Pain In Testicles?

Hello :),

Yesterday, i woke up because my testicles were in a LOT of pain. They were hurting for 10-15 minutes, and i couldn't stand up. I was forced to bend my back and couldn't stand up. Then the pain faded after 10-15 minutes and i went back to sleep after i used the toilet to pee. Then after an hour, i suddenly woke up again with the same feeling of pain, but not as much. This time, it lasted for 10 minutes and i went back to sleep. After 12 hours, i saw the doctor and he observed no physical damage to my testicles and penis. Then i made an appointment for an Ultrasound tomorrow. However, i did some research and i am afraid that it might have twisted testciles which is very dangerous so i woudl like to have your opinion. I heard, that its best to have surgery after 6 hours, but nearly a day has passed. Can you please help me, i would greatly appreciate it...I am 18 years old by the way.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your query health issues.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query the reply of your query is-
Could be from-Retractile Testes with cremaster spasm along with Reducible Partial Recurring Torsion, which has caused repeat pain.
Other causes of such a pain would be needed by Consulting Surgeon and Urologist and by USG study of the Scrotal region.
Do's -suggested for your case-
Check with Urologist in consultation with your family doctor or your Surgeon.
Get USG / CT study of Scrotal region to fix the cause of it- being Torsion testes.
Based on facts of your query, You don't seem to be at risk of strangulation from Torsion testes,as the Torsion has reduced mostly after second attack.
Plan for Orchiopexy to prevent recurrent Torsion testes, after Consults and investigation under cover of Urologist.
Antibiotic treatment with Tab-Ciplox-500 mg x 5-7 days follow up treatment would prevent any superadded infection after such attacks.
Tab Chymoral Forte x 3 times x 2-6 wks cover during antibiotic treatment.
Tab NSAID-Voltaren-1 x 2 times a day x for 5-10 days.
Tab PPI- Pantoprazole- 1 x 2 times a day x for 5-10 days
Tab-Zincovit 1 x 1 times day

Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.
Need to Check with family Physician and Urologist -specialist if need be, if things don't recover.

-Other causes need to be verified with your family GP doctor and team of -Urologist-Specialist doctors, as the facts may be different what you submitted.

-For this Second opinion from Urologist- specialist-is needed who would do proper investigation after proper physical assessment to resolve your health issues.
-for early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your complex health issues.

Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.

Welcome for any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
