Hi , I'm 34 year old male. Recently just realized that from a sitting position as well as a sleeping position changed to standing position, my heart beats faster. I can feel it and I feel I do not have blood pumping to my heart fast enough or to the brain. Can someone please help?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have problem of sudden rise in heart rate , which is also called tachycardia . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like high blood pressure , poor blood supply to the heart muscle due to coronary artery disease , heart valve disease, heart failure, heart muscle diseasethyroid disease and emotional stress or drinking . I would suggest you to avoid drinking alcohol and consult cardiologist for proper checkup of your heart condition . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , complete blood profile and checkup for secondary disease like hyperthroidism . Doctor may perform vagal maneuvers , prescribe anti-arrhythmic medication (Tambocor) , sometimes doctor may recommend pacemaker .
