What Causes Sudden Rise In Body Temperature With No Fever?

Grand daughter is feeling hot all over but there is no fever. Does not want sheets touching her. She has had diarrhea on and off for a couple of weeks and treated by doctor. However, heat problem has only just begun. She only wants to stand on cold floor. She is five years old. Could this be some sort of allergy?

These symptoms are very much suggestive of hyperthyroidism. I suggest you consult your pediatrician and rule out hyperthyroidism. If there are any thyroid problems in family members, this makes the possibility even more likely.
