What Causes Sudden Onset Of Nausea And Dizziness After Eating Pork?

My Mother has been eating pork all of her life. She pretty much grew up on the stuff. But about 5 years ago, she started getting really bad dizzy spells, nausea, and breaking out in a sweat and It only happens after she eats any type of pork. Now, the only type of pork she can consume without getting sick is pepperoni. What could be the reasoning for that?

Hello,

Sudden onset of nausea, dizziness after eating pork may be due to:
1) Food poisoning
2) Allergy to the preservatives added to pork
3) Allergy to pork itself

Some food allergies can appear all of a sudden and may cause nausea, dizziness, excessive sweating. It's always better to avoid the foods that cause allergic reactions. So ask your mom not to try other kinds of pork other than pepperoni as you mentioned it is safe.

Hi,

When she can stand pork with pepper spice. I feel it's the spices she is consuming which cause the symptoms. Please let her avoid those.
