What Causes Sudden Loss Of Sensation In Legs Of An Elderly Female?

Good afternoon - I m having a problem with sudden loss of both legs. Happens 2-3/day and usually after I ve been sitting, both in the car and in the house. When I get up, just a tad bit dizzy, wholely conscious but both legs start shaking and I lose total use of them for a minute or two. My husband holds me up and then tries to help me walk to wherever we re going. I m 70, have arteryiosclerious (sp), sciatic back pain (have had 5-6 epiderals, along with radio frequency denervation 2-1/2 weeks ago, but had a few episodes before the RFD. Am getting quite worried about this - my husband wants me to go to the ER but they re so busy, and this doesn t feel as if it is life-threatening. Any advise on this beautiful Sunday afternoon? Thanks so much, L
