General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Increased shortness of breath can be related to the decrease in your 'fluid pills'/diuretic medication.
Fluid can be retained in the lungs causing shortness of breath.

It would be best to let your doctor know about your worsening symptoms, your medication may need to be adjusted to increase fluid loss.
If you are having pain in the leg with associated swelling then this would also need assessment as soon as possible to rule out DVT.

I hope this helps
