Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I am truly sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what it must feel like.

Yes, it is worrisome when your blood pressure shoots up like this, especially the lower value (diastolic pressure).
This must be checked out and controlled right away.

-do you have chest discomfort, headaches, breathing difficulty, digestion issues?
- any other medical issues (other than ptsd and vertigo), medications?
- is your urine output normal?

I recommend :
-a physician consult or the ER
- an electrocardiogram to check for ischemic changes.
-an echocardiogram to check for heart function
-medications to lower your blood pressure must be administered as soon as possible to prevent stroke and cardiac compromise.
-an ultrasound abdomen to check for kidney size.
-blood tests (complete blood count, TSH, free T3, free T4, kidney function tests)
-urine analysis.

Based on the above test results and clinical findings, a treatment plan will be formulated.

Please seek help asap.

Have your tried counseling for PTSD? Talking with other who experienced similar situations can help deal with it. The pain never goes away but can help you move on with life.
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health.
