Dear user, I'm sorry about your sisters demise. Since she had an alcohol problem, we today know that alcohol causes any head injury to worsen. Thus she was at risk. There was the possibility of an unnoticed lesion or a clot in the brain. These are tough to figure out. Particularly in an A & E setup where patients have to be triaged, and there is no real time and effort expended to ascertain the right diagnosis, because of the nature of a casualty. Head injuries, even if occurred years back persist and create problems later on. Was an MRI or CT Scan taken? Be vigilante in the future. Obliged, Dr. Neel Kudchadkar "healthcaremagic"
