What Causes Sudden Choking And Breathlessness In Sleep?
I have just woken up for the 2nd night in a row choking and unable to breath. I am traveling learning a new job. they have me in a hotel. I remember when I was younger I had an allergy to downe feathers. I checked and 2 of the 4 pillows in the hotel room are downe. but I m also worried it might be sleep apnea. I woke up with some of my 8pm dinner stuck in my throat also.

This could be a gastric acid reflux problem, but it could also be sleep apnea.
You could try Prilosec or Zantac for a while, but, were I your doctor, I would order a sleep study test and upper endoscopy to find the exact cause here.
