Hi, I have gone through your question. Bleeding in early pregnancy can be due to:
1.Threatened abortion
2. Ectopic pregnancy
3. Bleeding around the foetus( subchorionic haemorrhage)
These conditions are differentiated on ultrasound. Since your wife's ultrasound shows choriodecidual haemorrhage, which is a type of subchorionic haemorrhage and live fetus, there is no need to worry.
I would suggest your wife to take rest, avoid heavy work and exercise, avoid intercourse and take progesterone which supports the pregnancy by making uterine environment more favourable for foetus, in the form of capsules or injections.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
