General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The cold or flu commonly presents with stuffy nose and coughing. In general, the symptoms last 7 to 10 days though can sometimes extend to 2 weeks.

Using Nyquil and Sudafed drugs are fine until they do not contain similar essential ingredients. Fluids and rest are also important.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
