recently, the last year my urine has had an acrid odor to it, and my frequency urge to urinate is too often to be normal. I try to drink plenty of fluids and the only medicine I take is 1 -5mg of amlodipine each day and this is for the last two years. The odor is not from asparagus or any food items as I vary my diet. I went to a urologist on the advise of my family doctor, but she immediately wanted to put a small camera up into my bladder, I then went back to my G.P. and he opined that that was probably not necessary. but did not follow up with any other suggestions, Please help me figure out how to stop this.
