Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain metallic taste in mouth if happened after starting the intake of Amlodipine can be due to a side effect of it, or else it can also be due to other causes like dry mouth, side effect of other medicines if you take any, diabetes, multivitamin intake which contains metallic ingredients, poor oral hygiene, upper respiratory infection, while at times certain serious illness like kidney and liver diseases and cancer can also be a cause..

You should consult a general Physician or your treating physician and get evaluated and after a thorough clinical evaluation only the exact cause of the metallic taste can be ruled out and treated accordingly..

As of now you can chew flavoured sugar free chewing gums, drink plenty of water..
Gargling with mint flavoured mouthwash can also help in masking metallic taste..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
