What Causes Strange Pain In Tip Of Penis And Blood In Urine?
Hello and thank you for your help, About two days ago the tip of my penis(inside) started to hurt a bit when I pee. It is now day two(I am going to see a doctor tonight if this is more serious than a UTI like I think) and I have started to see a little blood in my urine when I dry myself off with toilet paper. The paper comes away with a very distinctive pink colour. I am only having sex with one partner as is she. We don t use condoms but are both completely clean. Checked and tested. We do do anal sex though she cleans herself very thoroughly beforehand. Our sex life is rather active. I keep myself cleaned and haven t come into contact with anything unusual of late. Please advise me on if i should be seeing a doctor in person right now or if I am able to wait until tomorrow at the latest.
It may be due to an UTI (infection of some aspect of the urinary tract) or related to inflammation of an external aspect of the penis.
A doctor would assess a urine sample and may suggest sending a sample to the lab to determine if infection is present. Antibiotics, if infection is detected, would be needed.
You can wait until tomorrow unless the symptoms are severe.
I hope this helps
