What Causes Stomach Upset Along With Black Spots On The Tongue?

Sir, on 4th of February, 2017 I got open heart surgery, thereforeafter, my stomach was disturbed. I took Entamizole, Novidot and Bismol for my stomach. The stomach is still up set but my tongue color is showing some black spots. However, I am using the heart medcines, like lowplat, concor, sofvasc-5 mg Rovista, and Volta 150. will you be kind enough to let me know why my tongue is showing black spots.

Thanks for the query..

Black spots on your tongue are due to Bismol that you are taking for your stomach problem..
It is very commonly seen that when you take any medication containing Bismuth that is also present in Bismol, the particles accumulate over tongue causing a black layer or black spots.
It is commonly known as Black hairy tongue.
Although the name may appear scary but it is a completely harmless condition..
So my advise to you is to continue taking the medication and all you should do is to keep your tongue clean by scraping it daily with a tongue cleaner and gargle with 1:1 solution of hydrogen peroxide in water..
Once you will stop taking the medication and continue following the above remedies, the black spots will gradually fade off..
