Hi, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and getting stomach pains, I can't touch any part of my stomach above my belly button, however the main pain is below my belly button. It's quite severe I can't catch my breath properly and I'm in alot of discomfort when walking, sitting down and even lying down.
Pain in pregnancy may occur from many causes: a mild pain can be a stretch pain, esp. in 1st pregnancy, a severe pain maybe a premature labour pain. In between is an entire spectrum of causes: bleeding within placenta, gallstone, etc. If pain is quite severe, you need to see your obstetrician immmediately and preferably have an ultrasound scan to assess if all is well in the womb.
