Hi welcome to the health care magic

Excess fatty diet also sometime can lead mucus in stool...

It might be functional bowel problem without any specific cause

Your work up done as follow..
-Physical examination
-stool routine micro examination

If pus cells present and fever history than antibiotic can be prescribed

Eat more fruits and fiber diet

Complete the course of prescribed antacid like omeprazole

Avoid gastric irritants like excess tea, coffee, smoking etc...

If no improvement than USG done for further work up

Take care

Consult physician for examination with keeping all this in mind
