What Causes Stomach Pain When Suffering From IBS?

My stomach has been hurting for a couple of days. I have IBS so an upset stomach in nothing new. It was actually hurting this time for a couple of days and then today it started feeling really upset, so I used the restroom and had loose stool. There was blood on the toilet paper while I was wiping. My stomach is still hurting, not bad, but just uncomfortable.

People differently describe how pain feels in IBS, such as...

Cramping or cramp-like
Stabbing
Sharp
A ‘migraine’ in the stomach
IBS pain or discomfort is related to the way the bowels move.

There may be less pain after having a bowel movement
The pain may begin when the frequency of bowel movements change to more often or less often
Or the pain may begin when stools change and become harder or softer.

This pain is due to altered bowel movement's caused by psychological stress. You told above blood in stools. But blood in stool normally not found in IBS. Please consult doctor to rule out fissure or hemorrhoids.
