What Causes Stomach Pain Post Food Intake Radiating To Back With Recurring Headaches?

I don't know if part of this may be a flair up of previous stomach issues from 8 years ago! My symptoms include stomach pain after I eat, sometimes severe and radiates toward my back when gets bad. Periodic headaches. I've had stomach pain and a headache everyday for the last week. Finally yesterday I started eating chicken soup and toast. That seemed to help until I had a snack! I still have the headache though. Neither last all day, but both happen everyday.
I assume, I should go see my GP.
Thanks, Kim

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi kim, i do care for your concern.
your symptoms suggest more of an duodenal ulcer.
If i were your treating doctor, then i would advise
To start on proton pump inhibitor such as omiperazole for a full course of one month.
avoid eating spicy food, have food at the appropriate time.
smoking and alcohol is very bad for duodenum.
have your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep.
following the above would definitely help you a lot.
