What Causes Stomach Pain Post Amoxicillin Intake?

I was prescribed amoxicillin clavulanate this last Saturday. I had a tooth pulled and bone graft done. I am experiencing stomach pain and feeling very tired. I am also on blood pressure medication , a blood thinner, a cholesterol medication. I did call the dentist on Saturday about the pain. He asked if I ate something with it and I told him I did. It says to keep taking till gone . I m wondering if I should stop it now.

Hi,

Stomach pain is due to alteration of intestinal flora after amoxicillin intake.
Take antacid, and always take medication after eating, and separately from antacid intake.

Take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora.
A mild diarrhea would appear, but it will be temporary. Probiotics will help.

Wish fast recovery.
