What Causes Stomach Pain In A Child After Eating Orange Colored Foods?

my 9 month old son cant eat anything orange tinted, he spits up and has horrible stomach pain that keeps him up all night, i feed him oatmeal and a fruit in the morning, chicken and apples dinner for lunch and a green vegetable and another fruit at dinner (all gerber baby food) and his stomach is fine. i am worried that he is not getting enough variety and nutrients by only eating these few tings though, i am breastfeeding also, breast-milk doesn't bother him only the baby food, i would like to know why he gets such bad pain from any other food and what i can do to help him be able to eat more variety?

Hi...I don't think the particular color is irritating his tummy. it should be his aversion to a particular color. Moreover by what you have quoted I feel that he is getting all the essential nutrients which hare required. He is getting a balanced diet. If his growth and development are normal for his age you need not worry. An active kid is a well kid.
