What Causes Stomach Pain, Diarrhea, Sulphur Smelling Burps And Abdominal Bloating?
I am a 52 year old female. I suffered from stomach pains, nausea, then horrible sulphur smelling burps for about 10 hours then the burping and nausea stopped and I had just stomach pains and diarria with abdominal bloating the next day. all seems to be settling down on day 3. Any ideas? am I contagious?

Bloating and burping might be related to indigestion, excessive swallowing of air (Aerophagia), excess intake of carbonated drinks, ill fitting denture and Acid peptic disease.
I would advise you to identify any of triggering factor among above mentioned, you should take antiacidity medicine like pantoprazole or ranitidine group of drugs with antacids for 4-5 days.
You shouldn't worry much about the diarrhoea, take lots of fluids like ORS, lemon water and fruit juices to counter dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.
If it doesn't subside in a day or two than you should visit nearest Emergency care for physical examination, recording of blood pressure and stool test for ova,cyst or protozoa.
you may require a course of antibiotics under medical supervision.
