What Causes Stomach Pain And Pressure On Rib Cage?

Hello. I am a 20 year old female. Just this past weekend I went to a Women s Retreat. During the last day, I started feeling nauseous and my stomach hurt. Also on both sides of my rib cage (under my breasts) I feel pressure, every here and there. A few years ago, I went on a gluten free diet. All my gas, and bloating went away. Over the weekend, I ate a lot of gluten. I have not thrown up, but I have been close. I have had such an upset and crampy stomach it is driving me nuts.

Dear- thanks for using HCM and will be glad to answer your question. Gluten can cause a lot of gas and bloating. The nausea and pain in the rib cage is from the gaseous intestine after eating a lot of gluten. You already had the experience before of how good you felt in a gluten free diet. That is what your need to do again in order to feel better. You will see how the upset and crampy stomach will go back to normal.
I hope that my recommendations will be helpful
