What Causes Stomach Pain And Nausea Despite Being On Protonix?

I am an otherwise healthy 44 year old woman, normal height, weight and blood pressure. I do take protonix and have taken since I was a teenager for a sensitive stomach. Yesturday when playing competitive tennis I was serving, and I felt a pain in my stomach, like a muscle pull. Since then I have been feeling bloated and low grade nausea with a lot of gas. I am immediately worrying its something awful like pancreatic cancer or something like that. What do you think?

Hi

I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you.
Your symptoms suggests you could be having acute gastritis or colitis. Take a course of antacids and antispasmodics for a week, if the symptoms doesn't subside then get ultrasound done to rule out any underlying pathology.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. I will be glad to help you in case if you have any further queries.

Wish you speedy recovery. Take care.
