What Causes Stomach Pain And Burning Sensation In The Food Pipe?
hiii i have pain n my stomach ... whatever i eat it feel like burning through my eating food line i thing bz of two day before i went for gym and after that i feeling like that ........... could u please tell m what's basically problem is , is there any remedy ???????//
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Feeling burning sensation in the esophagus after eating, particularly after joining the gym can be due to the following reasons: The commonest being GERD and here the cause can be either a lax lower esophageal sphincter or Hiatus hernia that got accentuated due to the exercises in the gym. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Soft bland diet. Get started with a PPI like Omeprazole. Motility regulator like Domperidone. Antacids when on empty stomach. Stop going to gym and also avoid any activities that increase the intra-abdominal pressure. If there is not much of a relief go for an upper GI Endoscopy.
