What Causes Stomach Pain After Drinking Alcohol?

Hi I'm hoping you can help, I don't drink much but on the odd occasion I get really bad stomach pains which last for about half hour. When I say on the odd occasion it happened twice last year. I am starting to get a dull pain like it's starting up again but I haven't been drinking. I am also feeling a like sick with it as well. I hope you can advise what it may be.

Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.
I understand your concern.
Drinking alcohol, even a little makes your stomach produce more acid than usual, which can in turn cause gastritis.
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-take PPI medication for a week in the morning
-avoid caffeine and alcohol
-avoid spicy foods
-eat regularly
Hope my answer was helpful.
Kind regards!
