What Causes Stomach Hardness With Movements Inside?
for more thab 3 years my stomach is hard and i feel movements, when i am hungry something come right uop to eat all pregnancy test are negative. finally i find a doctor that order a cascan the insurance refuse to pay for it. i do not know what to do. am i suppose to live woth that feeling for life. please tell me what could that be? i also ultra sound nothin.

Feeling hard stomach and feeling of movement inside the abdomen can be due to many causes as follows:
- Since ultrasound of abdomen is normal any cystic swelling is ruled out.
- This may just be a feeling that you are getting due to anxiety and stress causing aerophagia.
- Something moving in stomach can be due to excessive bloating, gas formation and so on.
This can be diagnosed by the following:
- X-ray of abdomen in standing position.
- Barium studies if CT scans if not allowed by your insurance company.
- Clinical evaluation by a General surgeon can help you a lot.
- Control of anxiety and stress helps.
- If the stool tests show any specific cause, then this can be treated accordingly.
- Take stool softeners for controlling constipation.
- Take Activated charcoal and probiotics if there is excessive gas.
