Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Stomach Discomfort And Weakness In The Right Arm?
My wife has a queasy feeling in her stomach and weakness in her right arm. There is no history of heart problems. The condition developed about 8 hours after eating baked salmon. I have a mild queasiness in my stomach, but no weakness. Could it be due to the fish? Recommendation? YYYY@YYYY
This may be due to a salmon allergy. Its common. I advise both of you to avoid any Sea Food. If you have a little allergy to salmon, you may have allergy to other sea foods.
As you have no serious symptoms, I would like to give you very light remedies.
1. Avoid seafood
2. If itching occurs, you can have Cetrizine or other antihistamines
3. For nausea, Diphenhydramine is also a good drug.
4. You can also have bananas, boiled potatoes, peeled rice.
If possible, do some tests:
1. Blood Routine tests
2. RAST
Just avoid the seafood, you can be better. Do not worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
