Hello , my allergist prescribed prednisone to me ( 1 tab twice a day morning and evening for 5 days then 1 tablet once a day for 7 days ) after DAY 1 : crampy stomach and diahhrea I called doctor s office and was told he was out of the country. DAY 2 : bloated stomach , diahhrea , headache , heart beating fast and loud , couldnt sleep , nervous feeling . so I called and the secretary told me to reduce to once a day and continue DAY 3 ( took one pred20 ) : i was feeling bloated , crampy , diahhrea , headache , dizziness , same nervous as day 2 . DAY 4 : no way to reach doctor , i stopped taking pred 20 yesterday . Still felt bloated , dizziness , diahrea , headache , lower abdomen crampy and felt inner body chilling or trembling last night . I drank half sleeping pill to get sleep last night . DAY 5 : today , i am hoping to feel better but my knees feel weak and im going to try and drink more fluids because it may help flush our the steroids out faster , i took electrolytes because I have an issue with below average pottasium level . Please help
