Usually hits me at night and has my up several times thinking I m going to be sick. Bowels are moving, (first episode I had bad diarrhea). No blood in stool and have not actually vomited but was close. 50 yr male

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, it seems that you might be having infection of the gastrointestinal tract and need medical management.
You may need an antacid like Omeprazole 40 mg once a day along with Domperidone 30 mg for relief from nausea. Antispasmodic like Drotaverine may help in relieving pain in abdomen. An antibiotic along with antiamoebic may be added to treat the infection. A probiotic will have added benefits.
A stool examination will be helpful in planning further medical management.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
