I having a bloated feeling in my upper stomach when I eat. I get relief with sparkling water that allows me to burp. However, it returns with my next bite of food. There is no burn feeling and I don t know what indigestion feels like unless this is it. The pain goes away eventually but I am concern since I am traveling out of the country on Sunday. Is there something over the counter I can take?
Hello Bloating can be managed even without drugs with certain dietary changes and life style modifications like Avoidance of smoking and consumption of alcohol and other carbonated drinks. Avoid fatty fried spicy or junk food Have lots of fresh fruit and steamed vegetables. You can take lemon water Have small and frequent meals Avoid overeating
You can take anti acidity medicine like pantoprazole or rabeprazole with antacids when it's a chronic problem You should avoid stress and anxiety by doing relaxation exercises and meditation
Hope this helps you Please feel free to ask for follow up question If anything is not clear or you have any more queries. Best wishes
