What Causes Stomach Bloating And Constipation?

my daughter has bloating and severe constipation, she is having a colonoscopy on mon. the dr. is giving her kristalose prior to the test along with the amitiza she has been taking for a month now. I hear kristalose adds bloating and was wondering what else she can do to help the discomfort when she begins the prep process?

Hello,

Both drugs mentioned here are prescribed for gut clearance, hence, not going to give constipation.

Stomach bloating can be part of side effect, addition of proton pump inhibitor on empty stomach morning and evening before meals will help in prep process.
