What Causes Stomach Bloating And Constipation After Taking Lantus Solostar Injection?

I have been a type 2 diabetic since 2011 . Doctor put me on 10ml of insulin once at night since July of this year I have been very bloated and very constipated .My local Dr said not to take the insulin and monitor my blood sugar daily . It has been 5 days with no insulin just The janumet medication morning and night 2000 daily my bloatedness is better and I am going regularly . my blood sugars have been okay under the 10 mark. Is it going to be harmful not taking the insulin I take Lantus Solostar. Many thanks Cathy Cosentino

Lantus (Insuline Glargine),has manny side effects like:
anxiety
fast heartbeat
blurred vision
confusion
headache
tiredness
nausea etc,but not constipation and bloatting....
I think may be you had any malnutrion...depending of what you ate...
You should be careful to eat manny fruits,vegetables..and to drink many liquid...
Don't eat bananas,appels,fried food etc that stimulate your constipacion.
