What Causes Stomach Aches With Thick Stool?

my 5 year old son has a bad tummy at least every few weeks, his poo is mostly yellow or clay like in consistancy.. he does have a varied diet but is never very hungry or that interested in food. He complains of a tummy ache... but loves top drink milk... any ideas do you think he may have an allergy to food or should we get a blood test to check organ functions..?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

If I were your treating doctor I would concentrate more on his growth and development and daily activities than on the food. But drinking excess milk as diet will lead on to anaemia and is not advisable. This is a food fad and is not suggestive of food allergy. Kindly get him evaluated by your paediatrician.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
