What Causes Stinging Pain At The Acupressure Site?

I went yesterday to an ACUPUNCTURIST YESTERDAY FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT FOR PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY. i AM STILL FEELING A STING FROM THE NEEDLE HE INSERTED UNDERNEATH MY RIGHT THUMB. i CALLED HIM AND HE SAID MASSAGE THE AREA AND APPLY ARNICA, WHICH THE GOOD-OLD DR. WEILL SPEAKS TO THE CONTRARY. ANY OPINION? ALSO, NEUROLOGISTS IN OUR LOCAL SARASOTA AREA NO RELIABLE CURE OR IMPROVEMENT FOR PATIENTS WITH NEUROPATHY WHICH I PERSONALLY FIND MIND-BOGGLING

Hi,

The stinging pain after acupuncture may be due to secondary infection. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. And why don't you consult the expert neurologist for the neuropathy?

Ask your family doctor for the neurologist. Take pain killer for the pain and antibiotic for the infection, if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Ilyas Patel,
