What Causes Stiffness And Pain In The Legs?

I have a 24 year old daughter who for the past 8 months, has had several odd symptons. She had blood work that revealed she has sjogren s syndrome. She has episodes usually around the time of her menstration in which her legs quiver visibly but also her voice is shakey and she feels shakey. At this time she has stiffness in her legs and pain. She frequently has pain in her knees and a burning sensation of her skin usually the legs and hands. At times, we put ice on her to subdue the burning. Other symptoms include gastric pain, numbness and tingling of hands and feet. A few months ago, she had a three week period in which she could not hold down any food.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be an early sign of arthritis.

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.\

Regards,
