What Causes Stiffness And Pain In The Legs And Knees?

hi am 50 years old and suddenly in my legs I have stiffens, knee pain-shooting pains from hip to ankle-charlie horses from knee to foot. Had cortisone shot in my knee, about a month ago. I started glucosamine/chondroitin today? I am a mess. What do you think?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be an early sign of arthritis.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
