What Causes Stiffness And Burning Sensation In The Joints?

I have been experiencing several symptoms and I have yet to receive a diagnosis. I am experiencing (not always at the same time) joint pain and stiffness in all large joints (I have been diagnosed with arthritis), burning in my joints (primarily my knees), insomnia, a recurring rash (on chest and/or neck for the last 5yrs), headaches, hot flashes, mood swings, vivid dreams, fatigue, nausea (usually in the morning), weakness in my muscles (usually more in my shoulders and arms), tension in my jaw, confusion, and a sense of fogginess. I have been to a couple primary care physicians, two rheumatologists, the local ambulatory clinic, and a dermatologist and during each visit I receive a different answer. I have been diagnosed with arthritis. A doctor told me the rash was scabies while another physician told me it was scarlet fever. I have been diagnosed with anemia and a vitamin D deficiency, but even when I took the suggested vitamin doses the symptoms didn t subside. I had given up on seeing physicians, but the last week has been a little rough so I scheduled with a new primary care physician and I m awaiting that appointment. If you could give any ideas, in terms of what I m actually dealing with, that would be great. Genia P.
