What Causes Stiff Neck And Upper Back Pain?
Hi, my wife is 35, and two nights ago, she held up a drill over her head. The drill is a bit heavy. She has since had a stiff neck and pain in the back shoulder area on the left side of her body. today she notices dark blue veins on the front of her neck and going towards the left side of her chest. Not sure what that it is

Your wife has got neck spasm due to lifting heavy weight which leads to pain on movement of neck. I would like to advice hot water fomentation on local part. Take NSAIDS like bruffen or diclofenac plus thiocolchicoside to relieve pain and muscle spasm for 5 days. Avoid lifting heavy weight on your neck. All this measures would help you relieve of your pain.
