What Causes Stabbing Pain In The Breast After Hysterectomy?
I had a hysterectomy in march... I still have one fallopian tube and my ovaries. I ve been noticing the past 2 weeks my breast and nipples have been very sore and sharp pains in my breast (stabbing pains) it comes and goes throughout the day. and my nipples are hard all day as well. should I be concerned? please help!
Very likely this is nothing to be worried especially because your breast are both hurting and not only one, this means very likely it is the hormonal changes and sensitivity of the breast tissue to it that might be causing these pains.
Still for your safety you will need to check your breast with your doctor and if you are under 40 years of age you can also have an ultrasound. If you are over 40 years old and have not had a mammogram the last 2-3 years you can have one as a routine check.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
