What Causes Spotting?

Hi, I am 18 years old. I generally have regular periods however this month is different. My period came on time but it was brown and extremely light almost like CM. I am sexually active. I did not really have any cramping. My periods are generally very heavy and this time I don't even use a tampon in a day.

Hi,

With a very regular and heavy periods and active serial life. Your present symptoms suggest possibility of early pregnancy. The changed bleeding can be implantation bleeding. Pregnancy can be confirmed by blood hCG test in laboratory and home pregnancy test after 8 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
