What Causes Spotting?

Hi.. i had unprotected sex with my fiance and took the pill the next day. after 10 days of taking the pill, i am having blood stains. the flow is not like when i have my periods. it is very less compared to that. what does this blood stains indicate?

Secondly, as you took the emergency pill within the stipulated time, your chances of conception are very low. The spotting you are experiencing is mostly because of the breakthrough as the pill has high hormone content. Please see a doctor if you become overdue by ten days for your next natural period.
