General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Loette is a combined birth control pill. In the initial few months, some may experience certain side effects related to menstrual disturbances like intermittent spotting. Gradually, such symptoms should subside on its own with continuing medication as scheduled.

In case you experience such side effects frequently and it becomes bothersome, you need to seek medical attention promptly to review the intake of such pills and change to the one which would suit you.

Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S
