What Causes Spotting And Light Periods With Cramps?

ok I am going thru menopause. I am 48 years old. I had some spotting for 3 days and a 1 day cycle after sex today. My cycle is supposed to be here by Wednesday. So, could that be my cycle or abnormal bleeding? Could my period last for 1 day or what? I have been cramping.

Hi,
Do not panic, as it is common phenomenon that happens when a women approaches menopause. There will be irregular cycles, and the flow can be scanty, and some times more. If the bleeding is very high, only then you can consult a gynecologist, to get your cervix and endometrium checked.
Hope this helped.
Thank you.
