What Causes Spotting And Back Pain On The 16th Day Of Menstrual Cycle?

Hi Dr, My 16 th day of my periods I have back pain and tiny bleeding. I used ovulation test kit and showed high fertile day .we are trying pregnant .my prolactin level is high, now ok .Today I checked again fertile day. My question is am I pregnant?(last periods 8/23/2016 Thanks

Hello dear,
Understand your concern.
Spotting and back pain is due to the ovulation
Pain during ovulation generally occur.
It is due to egg that released during ovulation, along with it blood and fluid also released in some cases that cause irritation and pain
It is generally mild and for 1-3 days.
It is very early to tell about pregnancy.
If period will be delay by the 8-10 days then you have to think about pregnancy.
Following treatment currently will help you.
Tablet meftal spas orally two times a day for cramps
Warm bath help in relieving pain.
Take healthy diet and proper rest
