Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I ended my period this Tuesday and had sex on Wednesday then on Friday I had spotting, today is Sunday and I m still spotting. What could this mean? Also I just had a Baby four months ago. Couldn t this be the reason why I m spotting? Because my cycle still isn t normal?... Please help. I just hope it s not implantation bleeding.
First of all, you need to pay extra attention to your fertility. Speak to your doctor about birth control, contraception, etc; as you need to make sure you space your children well enough.
Next, an implantation is usually a very mild bleed/like spotting that occurs mostly just for a day but can go on to appear for about 3 days (max).
In my opinion chances of this being due to menstrual irregularities is more likely, but I would either way urge you to visit your doctor as you need to go ahead with the family planning discussion either way.
Best wishes.
