What Causes Spasms In The Chest?

Hi, My question is I am a 30 year old male and have been having spasms in chest and sometimes throughout my arms when I am lying down or standing. My primary care doctor seems to think that it can be a related to something neurological. Can you please advise?

Hello..
Neurological problem is less likely but can be ruled out only by doing necessary investigations.
I would like to know if you have a habit of smoking or drug abuse, other details like diet, occupation, sleep etc
I advise you to get a complete blood picture, thyroid function tests along with an ecg..
It can be simply due to severe gastritis but other important causes have to be ruled out by above said investigations..
If that is the case taking omeprazole + domperidone along with sucrlafate syrup will solve the problem in most of cases.
If you have any previous investigation reports mail them to me..
Good day..
